The hostel is located in an old historic hotel. Unfortunately, it appears that the amenities haven't been upgraded since the 1930's.

Beautiful old building in downtown San Francisco, within close walking distance to Chinatown and Little Italy.

The breakfast bagels are dry, but hey there’s breakfast and a kitchen so I’m not complaining.

The building itself is charming, the main lounge, living room/dining room has great energy from other guests and cool staff and it’s Chinatown adjacent for great snacks!

They are very polite and helpful regarding everything you need. They even provide with a storage for your stuff, a shower and access to kitchen until 8 pm after checking out. This is very convenient. There are events like live music with free drinks. Overall, the location is awesome and the hostel is comfortable. I would book this hostel again and i recommend.

No lift, stairs not fit for heavy luggage.Doesn't mean bad.Just adjust according to your needs as a backpacker.

The hostel location is strategic.Clean, safe,comfortable. Staff also very accomodate.Only 1 thing they have only stairs no lift.So, if you bring alot of luggage you should rethink.Generally I loved the hostel.They have everyday agenda in ballroom in order to engage with the new friends.You will never feel alone.

If you’re a solo traveler, this is the ideal place for you!! You’ll meet lots of people! The staff is so helpful and incredibly nice which made the stay even better overall. The hostel couldn’t be located better, you’re close to so many things to see. The rooms are nice and comfy and you have sockets next to the bed and if you’re in the upper bed, you have a sort of plastic box where you can put your phone while it charges during the night, which is highly convenient. Overall, a great place to stay!! Would definitely book it again in the future !!

The room had a weird smell (but I don't know if it was the hostel's fault or one of the guests I shared the room with).

Awesome location, with a lot of cool bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast is actually good and filling. They have a range of recommendations about the city, which is pretty cool. I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Easy access by bus

Very great location for my first time in San Francisco. The bed is clean, while the surrounding is quiet and suitable for a short trip. Will definitely visit again!

The hostel is nicely located in the city with chinatown and the italian neighbourhood around the corner. The atmoshere is really good and staff is super friendly! We had private double rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen area in the annex building around the corner from the main building, which was nice for us as 2 families with teenage kids.

Nothing to complain

Very well located. The breakfast is decent for a hostel and the dining room is beautiful. I had the window bed, which was ok for me because I'm short but it may not be suit for everyone. In any case, great place and I got to wake up with the view to the Golden Gate bridge. They have a good deposit for leaving your stuff before check in or after check out.

The bathrooms tend to be more on the wet side.

The staff was fantastic, and the facilities were better than expected. The rooms were comfortable for bunk beds and well kept up. The accommodations and extra events that the hotel offers made the experience even more fun. I would highly recommend it and I can't wait to go back.
