The café with the garden is absolutely the best in town! Breakfast of very good quality and variety, once again with the best view over the gulf! A room with sea view is a must!!

IsraelXantha is great for two reasons: the stunning view of the Pagasetic Gulf, the mountains and Volos; and the really wonderful lady who is now running the place (and who also speaks very good English). One should take into account that the road up is steep, narrow and at some places winding, not an easy one, and it's best to have a good engine, but it's well worth it for the view from your little balcony and the friendliness and generosity of the hostess: who not only invited me to eat as many of the ripe figs from the trees as I possibly could, but even paid my bill with the dinner delivery man (you can order food up) since I was in the shower!... As well as your own balcony, there's also a verandah off the drawing room with its own view of the Gulf, and the outside patio sitting area is especially nice. There's an open bar in the main drawing room of the hotel where you can make yourself herb tea from a varied selection, or of course coffee. So unless you would find the drive up difficult, Xantha is very highly recommended!

The host, Zoí, is such a nice welcoming person, always smiling and willing to help and to make you feel at home. In the morning, she offerd us coffee and prepared us a much appreciated breakfast! The location is fabulous -- beautiful village in the mountains -- and the appartment has a breathtaking view on Volos and the Aegean. Evgharisto para poli, Zoí!

Lovely staying at the hotel. Stuff is very open and ready to help. Everything clean, and extra effort is included so that guests would feel great. Very clean. Few meters from the beach, and relaxed atmosphere is on each step. Really plesant stay.

I asked for a sea view room on the fourth floor. It was was spacious and clean with lovely sea views. Moreover it was exceptionally quiet which meant I enjoyed a very relaxing stay after a long journey. The breakfast room is wonderful; light, bright and welcoming with sea views. There is a superb selection of food, attentive and smiling staff and FABULOUS coffee.
