A very unique & amazing experience to sleep on top of Pilatus! The views are breathtaking, the food is delicious and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommmended.

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. Amazing attention to detail by the staff Super friendly and helpful, housemade delicacies for breakfast, the location is out of a dream. Not a spec of dust in the room, everything was magical! Opening in December 2016, BoutiqueBoutique Hotel Anker is located in a historical building in the centre of Luzern, right on the Pilatusplatz square. Unusually decorated, location was good, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Stunning location and views of the lake, mountains and town from our room (57). Gorgeous woodland walks on the doorstep. The hotel is beautiful throughout, beautifully decorated. Room had everything you need including free mini bar, Molton Brown products, robes etc. Large terrace. The funicular takes you down and up to the hotel for free. The one evening meal we ate in the bar was good. Breakfast was excellent and the service very good.
