The 5-star Hotel Dann Carlton is located in the exclusive Bucaramanga district, central Santander. It offers luxurious accommodations and panoramic city views from the rooftop pool and sun terrace. The breakfast was a fantastic mix of local Colombian breakfast food as well as European breakfast foods. The Colombian food included Tamales, Pan de Yuca, Pan con Bocadillo, Calentado, Chorizos and of course, scrambled eggs both with and without ham. The European food included toasted bread with marmalade, cereals including cornflakes; granola and Choco Crisps (the Colombian Coco Pops!), eggs as requested (we ordered fried eggs), muffins / cupcakes and yogurt. The drinks there was coffee (of course! 🇨🇴), tea, milk, hot chocolate, freshly squeezed juices of Blackberry, Mandarin, and Orange. Honestly, it was a fantastic blended breakfast for all, those who prefer their conventional breakfast and those who want to the local cuisine!

Hotel Victoria Barichara in Barichara has 4-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. The property features a year-round outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub and garden. The atmosphere was great and peaceful, even though it was next to the road. The breakfast was delicious and complete. It reminded me of my country house when I lived in Medellin

Boasting mountain views, Cabañas Cañon Del Chicamocha provides accommodation with balcony, around 3.4 km from Chicamocha National Park. With river views, this accommodation offers a patio. I totally recommend to stay at the Cabañas. A peaceful and comfortable place with a stunning view to the Cañon. This place is 10/10!

Casa Barichara Boutique is a detached holiday home with a year-round outdoor pool, located in Barichara. You can enjoy the garden in fair weather. Free private parking is available on site. We absolutely loved Casa Barichara, a real gem. Stylish in every way . The people are just charming , the food they prepared was delicious and we could not fault it. This is definitely going to be a highlight of our trip in Colombia

Las Cabezas Grises offers rooms in Barichara. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Lovely people, with special thanks to Claudia, who looked after us so well. Our room was comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony overlooking woodland. The two resident macaws are beautiful and very entertaining. Great place!

Barichara településén, kiváló helyen, a város történelmi központjától gyalog 5 percre található az Artepolis. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. I particularly enjoyed the bathroom open to the sky. While the facilities are nice and pleasant, the standout feature is the friendly and accommodating staff.
