This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square. Very friendly Hotel. Everything has been furnished and designed with the former prison theme. The rooms (cells) are basically furnished with unpainted steel and wood. Comfortable beds, good shower and German Bread and Water provided in the room. Very good breakfast with a wide range of bakery items, cereals, cheese, meats etc and beverages. The Hotel forms part of the Wall which circles the entire old Amberg town.
