Situated within 20 km of Stadthallen Wetzlar and 42 km of Senckenberg Natural History Museum in Waldsolms, Gästehaus Köhler offers accommodation with seating area. We were greeted very warmly by our hosts and made to feel welcome immediately. We parked up our motorcycles, on the extensive parking area available and made our way inside, at which point Heiki even called the local restaurant to make sure they were able to accommodate us for dinner. The room was woonderfully clean, providing all the necessities for our stay, with a wonderful bed, comfortable mattress, seating options, fridge and tea and coffee-making. The bathroom was small, but provided enough space and all the amenities expected of more expensive accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast that was provided, which was fantastic. The spread was wide and varied, with all tastes and dietary requirements catered for. We were provided with a personal service, being the only remaining guests for the day, and were able to converse with the wonderful hosts.

Set in Fulda, 42 km from Kreuzbergschanze, RomanticHOTEL Goldener Karpfen offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Very friendly staff. There is free parking-lot. The room was very clean and quite big. There was breakfast (even for vegan). Really excellent place, would go to there again.

Boasting a shared lounge, Hotel Garni Fuhrhop is situated in Bad Karlshafen in the Hessen region, 49 km from Kassel Central Station and 50 km from Train Station Kassel-Wilhelmshoehe. This is one of those places where you think "why have I not planned more days here?!". Big and spacious room, little details like water, small biscuits and even shoe polish in room, nice personell quiet place and wonderful (and big) shower.

Komfortable Apartment-Wohnung is situated in Fulda, 44 km from Kreuzbergschanze, 4.7 km from Schlosstheater Fulda, and 5.4 km from Esperantohalle Fulda. My whole family enjoyed visiting the area where I was stationed in 1986 to 1988.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Landhaus Ingeborg is a recently renovated guest house set in Poppenhausen, 20 km from Kreuzbergschanze. Quiet B&B in the countryside, yet near to everything we wanted to see and do. Greeted warmly by the owner who showed us around the house and grounds. Treated like family. Met several repeat guests.

Pension Untere Mühle features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Burghaun, 22 km from Esperantohalle Fulda. Awesome visit. Highly recommend
