The old barn conversion to the lodge was well done. The history of the building was very interesting. Cheese making business is no longer .The village is a small quiet country spot so Prepare to find a dinner meal before you arrive.

If you love quiet place in nature, but few km from highway, this is accommodation for you! Hosts were super nice, communicative and served really great breakfast for us. At first, I was worried about having breakfast with hosts, but it was super pleasant, they share some great experiences with us. Room has every equipment which we needed, and also wi-fi was super fast. If you expect TV in the room, you will be dissapointed, but it's nothing to care about at this beautiful place! :)

Les Maisons du Pont - Charme & Caractère is situated in Aubusson, 33 km from Guéret. Ussel is 47 km away. All units include a dining area and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. Lovely accueil at reception, very clean. Comfortable bed. Thankyou

The place was lovely and they couldn’t have been more helpful, room was bright and airy and the communal area warm with a wood burner in the evening. Breakfast was perfect bread, with lots of meats and cheese. Cereal and yogurt as well but only had the yogurt, coffee machine so it was on tap and you could drink as much as you liked. They even had a fridge with beer in and you wrote down what you had.
