Facilities are very nice, clean with a lot of cute cactus plants. The hotel is located just 15 minutes walk from the port and 30 minutes to the Chora so you don't need a car unless you want to visit the island. Our room had a stunning view overlooking the bay. The owners are the nicest persons, always making sure you have everything you need.

We've traveled to many corners of the world – and certainly throughout Greece – but Hotel Gorgona has a unique, unforgettable spirit. That spirit comes straight from Dimitris, who pours his heart and soul into the hotel. You can feel it in the lovingly preserved traditional interiors – from the charming curtains to the authentic décor – everything reflects the real, timeless Greece. This isn’t the type of place where you’ll find Nespresso machines, designer toiletries, private plunge pools, or branded beach towels in fancy hotel bags. But that's exactly the greek charm – instead, you get a spotlessly clean, romantic, traditional, and absolutely enchanting atmosphere that touches your heart. The rocks behind the hotel and the sea in front of it are breathtaking. The breakfast room is another delight – a picturesque space with beautiful windows that left us speechless every morning. Right outside the hotel, apart from the sea and a charming little fishermen’s taverna, there’s also a very convenient bus stop. Buses run frequently and take you across the island, including to the capital, Chora. A huge thank you to Dimitris and the lovely Margarita at the reception – your kindness and energy made our stay even more special. Dimitris, we truly admire the positive and harmonious vibe you've created here. A million thanks – we can’t wait to return.

Gialos Plajı'na sadece 500 metre mesafede yer alan Olga konukevi, şezlonglarla donatılmış bir yüzme havuzuna sahiptir. Konstantinos and his family were amazing, they made us feel at home. Super comfy rooms, very nice pool area and bar service all day. We had such a nice stay and we will recomend it for people who are looking for a quite place to stay near Chora.

We received a warm welcome and the lady knew it was our honeymoon trip so she accommodated us in the best way possible. Everything was so great. Port was 3 minutes walking from the hotel and you could easily walk into the car rentals in case you wanted to rent a car.

The location on the beach was incredible and super accessible, especially with the Hotel's car service. The pool was lovely and the staff had great recommendations for throughout Ios and even helped us get a dinner rec. A fantastic family-owned place, cannot recommend enough!
