Die Residence Porto Ulisse ist von tropischen Gärten umgeben und erwartet Sie an der Westküste von Kalabrien. The breakfast was excellent, varied, from cereals, various yogurts, spreads, egg omelettes, to Italian specialties (nduja sausage, various cheeses) and of course there were also various sweet pies. The location was also great, about 2 km from Tropea. We had a rental car, so we drove to the city every day, because it was also very hot (about 36 degrees). Amazing roof top pool with great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. I also have to praise the owner, who accommodated us and changed our accommodation so that we got an apartment on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the town of Tropea.

Our hosts were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful. We loved the convenient location of the flat - so close to the festivities in the square but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. The directions to the place were perfect and it was easy to get our bearings around town. The bed was super comfy and having 2 bathrooms was a big plus. My sister and I are in "okay" shape so the 4 flights of stairs wasn't awful. It's hot in the stairwell as you're climbing up the stairs but the apartment was cool and comfortable.
