Am Rande des Naturparks erwartet Sie die Residenza in Gavila auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf die Berge und die Küste. Das Appartement ist gut aufgeteilt, mit zwei Etagen. Alles ist sehr sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Sowohl die Innenräume als auch die Außenanlagen. Zwar stehen die beiden Betten unten im offenen Wohnraum mit Küche, was aber für uns die Wohnlichkeit nicht verringert hat. Die Klimaanlagen funktionieren sehr gut. Es gibt eine Terrasse vor dem Appartement, mit genügend Platz, und einen Wäscheständer. Die Küche ist gut organisiert und ausgestattet, der Kühlschrank ausreichend groß und mit Tiefkühlfach. Das Bad ist recht klein, für die Anzahl der Personen, die theoretisch im Appartement unterkommen könnte, aber top in Ordnung. Ablagemöglichkeiten und Schränke sind bei mehr als drei Personen sehr begrenzt. Wir haben viel „aus dem Koffer“ gelebt. Uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört, aber wem das im persönlichen Komfortempfinden einschränkt, der sollte das wissen. Der Weg zu Unterkunft führt einen sehr steilen und kurvigen Pfad bergauf. Zu Fuß sicher herausfordernd. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze an der Unterkunft. Die Inhaberin Laura ist so hilfsbereit, wie man es nicht oft erlebt. Verständigung ist auch auf Englisch möglich, und alle drei Tage werden Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe sind wirklich ein Geschenk. Absolut wunderbar. Das W-Lan reicht nicht bis in die Appartements - jedenfalls nicht in die Nr. 5, die nicht so weit weg von der Rezeption liegt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, und kommen gern wieder, können sie absolut empfehlen!!!

Die Residence Reale liegt an der Reale-Bucht, nur 200 m vom nächsten Strand entfernt und 2 km außerhalb von Porto Azzurro. Our view from one of the corner units was absolutely incredible. The place was perfectly clean both in the room and on the grounds. Folks were friendly.

Very beautiful setting, a few steps away from a picture perfect beach. The pebbles are smooth and even without swim shoes manageable with added benefit of no sand everywhere. The hotel provides beach towels and on the large balconies (first floor) there is an outside drying rack, recliners and a tabled for breakfast with an absolute stunning view of the Mediterranean. The owners and staff are really welcoming and everything is clean (even the heavily used coffee machine is like new.. remember, this is Italy and they love coffee). The rooms are not particularly big, but with a smart layout. The best is the bathroom; the shower doors fold smartly out of their way giving you a lot of space + the entrance door is of equally genius design (double fold). All is in very good condition and around the sink etc enough room for all of what the ladies need to make themselves look even better. So make sure to have the sea view room and hear the soft noises of the waves breaking and wander off into your dreams. After waking up, you can enjoy an elaborate breakfast in the breakfast area with a particularly interesting floor tile. Private parking is plenty (Elba being a petite island has evidently a shortage of parking). The hotel is easy to reach if you take the road from Portoferraio that follows the coastline. We walked along that road to the town and max 15min downhill and 5min more uphill, excellent for digestion after having had dinner in town. I’ve read remarks on the WIFI: not true, we were there with our teenage daughter whose phone is part of their live. No issues with safety, nothing went missing.

I like a lot the place of the resort totally green and the apartments are simply perfect. Hot when it s cold outside and cool when sun is high. I come here for the feeling of complete wellness since 1995.

It was close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants. They served a beautiful breakfast with many options. The room was clean and decorated in a unique and “beachy” way. It had a nice terrace with a table and chairs. The best part of the hotel,however, was the staff! They went above and beyond to be helpful and to make the stay comfortable one. Well done, Hotel Punto Verde!
