The room ( Flor de Maya) was wonderful: located on the ground floor having two big beds, separate patio near the pool, fridge. The host and staff were very helpful, and the hotel location was perfect. Breakfast was the best during our three week journey in Mexico. Very nice place for visiting Merida.

Real Haciendas Hotel se nachází v kouzelném městě Valladolid v Yucatánu. Jedná se o malebný útulný hotel s půvabným nádechem. The facilities are amazing, the staff is very welcoming and kind, if you stay here you will find a peaceful environment located in a safe area (all Valladolid is cozy and safe) and the staff speaks perfect English if you're not a Spanish speaker (I am Mexican but traveled with a non Spanish speaker). As a national I found all visitors from other countries got the right idea that this is a place for tranquility and relaxation rather than just partying and hecticness. I would definitely come back here.

Mérida Hotel La Piazzetta se nachází na náměstí Mejorada, 230 metrů od muzea Museo De la Canción Yucateca a jen pár bloků od katedrály, trhu a Paseo Montejo, a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi. We were recommended to stay here by friends and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Leo, the owner, was far more than a hotelier. He was a source of great advice of what to do, where to go, where to eat (the food was some of the best we had in our trip) and everything else you could want to know. The room was delightful and had a wonderful balcony view over the small square. Although our room was on the street-front, it was quiet and peaceful. The hotel's location was excellent as well, being central and easily accessible to most popular places in Merida by foot or short car journey. Parking was very easy and we never had a problem getting a space directly outside the front of the hotel - in part because Leo ensures that there is always space for guests. In summary, don't bother looking any further for where to stay. Book here if you can and you won't be disappointed.

The Diplomat is a beautifully designed boutique hotel in a wonderfully relaxed setting. From the moment we stepped through the door we were so warmly welcomed by Sara, Eric and their team and loved every minute of our stay. The welcome margarita was the best of our 3 week stay in Mexico (we tried many!) and our enormous room, which opened onto the pool terrace was simply perfect. Sara organised massages in our room on our first evening and her restaurant suggestions were perfect. We had already booked a guide (Raul Gil +52 999 157 9312) who, by coincidence, turned out to be the guide that The Diplomat used. He was fantastic and took us for a great day out to the Celustan, followed by visits to an old Hacienda and Uxmal (in our opinion a way better experience than Chichen Itza). The delicious breakfasts at the hotel were different each day and it was a treat to have afternoon tea!

Located in Valladolid's town centre, Hotel Posada San Juan has an outdoor pool, terraces and gardens to offer to its guests. Good location in Valladolid, walking distance from the city centre, on a small square. Beautifully renovated building, with nice garden and pool, quiet and relaxing. Extremely friendly staff, good breakfast. Parking available, as well as good restaurant in separate building. Perfect stay
