Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Tämä design-hotelli sijaitsee kunnostetussa perinteisessä maalaistalossa, joka on Atlantille päin olevalla kalliolla. The location of the hotel was fabulous brilliant views of the sea and the staff were so friendly and very helpful when we had to stay an extra night as our plane home was cancelled! The hotel also provided a very good complimentary mini bus service to the start and finish of various walks and to Funchal and to the airport. Thoroughly recommend the hotel and place!

Hiljattain kunnostettu 4 tähden Hotel Baía Azul sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla 4 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Funchalin rannalta. Aamiainen oli kattava, kuohuviinistä aamupalalla plussaa! Joka ilta livemusiikki oli kiva!

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Aamiainen oli todella runsas ja monipuolinen. Hotellihuone siisti, hyvä sänky. Hyvä sijainti hotellilla. Spa ja allasosasto mukava bonus.

Absolutely pristine, so quiet, and beyond helpful and friendly staff. Also, loved the location, the views, and breakfast provided by the property. Just a very pleasant and kind atmosphere.

Set in Ponta do Pargo, in the west side of Madeira Islands Region, 35 km from Funchal, Casas da Levada boasts an outdoor pool and views of the sea. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was perfect – a truly authentic experience. I loved the idea of trust: you can take food or drinks from the hotel’s shop or bar, mark it down, and pay at the end. In the morning, breakfast ingredients are delivered so you can cook yourself, which makes it feel more like staying in a home than a hotel. The location is stunning – probably the best spot for sunsets on Madeira, in a quiet, non-touristy area surrounded by nature. With only six cottages, privacy is guaranteed. The cottages are decorated in a cozy rustic style, very clean, with vintage furniture that adds charm. In 5 minutes by car are some of the best restaurants we tried on the island, plus even a specialty coffee shop. It’s also a perfect base to explore the northwest, southwest, and central parts of Madeira. Out of four accommodations we stayed in during our trip, this was by far the best.

Castanheiro Boutique Hotel sijaitsee Funchalissa 500 metrin päässä Marina do Funchalista. Hotellissa on spa-keskus, ympärivuotinen ulkouima-allas ja poreallas sekä ravintola ja baari. The staff was Excellent. They went out of their way to help to recommend outstanding restaurants, activities and the happy hour was fantastic to meet other travelers. The location is excellent.

Herdade do Pedregal sijaitsee Ponta do Pargossa Madeiran saaren länsirannikolla. Great location on the island, looks very pretty. The housing itself looks very lovely as well. Facilities and parking options were great!
