The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The location was perfect, close enough to be part of the action and far enough to get a quiet sleep. The food was excellent and original. Finally the staff was impeccable.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Fantastic breakfast. Very clean place with perfect service.

The Turkish (steam) bath and sauna were amazing (just what we needed after a few days of walking the Camino). The breakfast buffet was amazing (we did not eat dinner). The room was comfortable - they even provide flip flops to wear down to the spa. And we were able to find a pair of shoes for my husband in the shop.

The hotel is located near the river which is great to take a stroll or a quick dip, and there are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance.

يعود تاريخ فندق Paço de Vitorino إلى القرن السادس عشر، ويقع على بُعد 10 دقائق بالسيارة من وسط مدينة بونتي دي ليما، ويضم حديقة على الطراز الباروكي. Paço de Vitorino is a real gem. Large comfortable rooms, swimming pool with amazing view, pool bar and dinner in the main house. I can go on and on.. We visited as a family with young kids and it was perfect.
