This is literally an old mansion that has been nicely modernized but retains an immense amount of the original character and details. Decent amount of parking on the street in front. Great breakfast. We had the better room with a massive king bed. Modern bathroom. Good heaters. You have the use of many of the common rooms for relaxing. Library. Pool table. Sitting room. Massive dining rooms all in period decor. Amelia who operates this home is very lovely and pleasant.

The comfort level was outstanding, with a clean and well-maintained room that made me feel right at home. The welcoming atmosphere created a cozy, family-friendly environment that I truly appreciated. What impressed me most was the staff - incredibly professional and attentive to guests' needs. They showed genuine care and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The cleanliness standards were impeccable, and the overall ambiance was warm and inviting. I felt like part of a family rather than just a guest. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run hotel with exceptional service.

Hotel amb instal.lacions noves i amb un restaurant molt bo. L'atenció de l'encarregat de sala que ens va atendre al migdia per dinar, perfecte. Un professional.

És troba ubicat al centre de Covilhã, una ciutat que té uns quants punts d'interès i és la porta d'entrada a la Serra da Estrela. Té dustribuifor de cafès i begudes a recepció. Possibilitat de comprar gelats i altres pica-pica (galetes, patates fregides, ...). Les habitacions, amb aire condicionat són grans, amb bany dins i molt ben equipades. L'esmorzar està inclòs en el preu de L'habitació. És un lloc per passar-hi uns quants dies perquè és prop de llocs d'interès.

We stayed here for just one night with our family, and it was absolutely amazing. The house is both incredibly comfortable and beautifully authentic. It’s decorated in a charming rustic style while offering all the modern comforts. The bathtub was fantastic, and the shower was excellent. Despite the cold weather outside, the house was warm and cozy thanks to the well-functioning heating system and fireplace. The floors were a bit cool, but the bedrooms were perfectly warm, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Patricia, who welcomed and took care of us, was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities like the pool and jacuzzi, but we would love to return in warmer weather to fully experience everything this place has to offer. The location is truly magical—completely secluded, surrounded by stunning nature, with a small river nearby, grazing sheep, lush greenery, and mountains in the background. Absolute peace and beauty.

Offering barbecue facilities and garden view, Casa do Telheiro is set in Sabugueiro, 20 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela and 44 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach. The hotel is in perfect condition, it’s fairly new and everything is high quality. The host, Joana, made the experience even better. She always went the extra mile to make sure that we are comfortable. Even better, she helped me buy and prepare things for my friend’s birthday I also liked that there is a kitchen so you can easily cook your meals as well and all the utilities are there.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Manteigas, SerraVale - House & Nature is a country house surrounded by views of the garden. Easy to find, close to supermarket, solid construction, nice garden, place for parking, clean room, hot water, wi-fi, fantastic breakfast… Everything! Words are not enough to describe Elsa’s hospitality and care. It’s 12 of 10! Will definitely stay at SerraVale again.

Located in Seia, Chao do Rio - Turismo de Aldeia features rustic homes, as well as an outdoor biologic swimming pool and free bicycles. In 2 words.. A dream! So much thought has been given to details. The house is spotless! The breakfast basket is an amazing touch. We were supposed to travel throughout the area and ended up not wanting to leave the premise! A true gem.

Offering mountain views, Encosta da Serra is an accommodation located in Sabugueiro, 20 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela and 45 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach. I liked everything: the room, the furniture, the central heating, the bathroom, the cleanliness, the mattress, the welcome (free) tea / coffee, the decoration, the breakfast (not included but with great food for a fabulous price), and the sympathy and availability of the staff.
