This hotel in Guarda’s centre is located at Portugal’s highest point, at 1000 metres altitude. It has a restaurant overlooking Serra da Estrela. Hotel was very clean and the staff were all extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good.

So much thought has been given to details. The house is spotless! The breakfast basket is an amazing touch. We were supposed to travel throughout the area and ended up not wanting to leave the premise! A true gem.
