Offering inner courtyard views, Kopparstugans Bed & Breakfast is an accommodation located in Falun, 3.9 km from Lugnet Sports Centre and 14 km from Carl Larsson House. We stayed just one night but we would have want to stay more. The house is beautiful, full of character, and so is the room. The host welcomed us at a late hour and explained us where to eat. In the morning we enjoyed a very good moment of conversation with him (breakfast is great). The house is an old and nice miner’s house and is close to the mines. Everything was great for us!!

Situated in Lindvallen ski area in Sälen and only 50 metres from the ski lifts, Hotel Bügelhof offers rooms with rustic decor. A restaurant and bar are available on site. The property was dog friendly, with access to the lounge, restaurant and general area all accessible for the dog. This made the trip incredibly enjoyable, as our dog was only in the room when we were out skiing. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help. The breakfast was 10/10 and provided such a broad range of food.

This family-run B&B is in Vikarbyn, by Lake Siljan in the Dalarna Region. Rooms and cottages here share a fully equipped guest kitchen and free private parking. Rättvik is 7 km away. The house, the outside space to eat or relax, the vicinity of the lake (we went for a swim and it was great!)

Boasting a garden and views of river, Mannflogården Bed & Breakfast, Sälenfjällen is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Sälen, 8.2 km from Snötorget. Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, well equipped (kettle, pots, pans, coffee machine, towels, cleaning supplies, shoe warmer etc.), and comfortable. Location is also fantastic, close to both Sälen and Kläppen, as well as many cross-country tracks. Breakfast was very good, and the host very accommodating. We will absolutely return here when in the area. Thank you, Thomas!

Dating back to 1634, Lustigsgården Boutique Hotel is set in traditional, red wooden buildings, just 1 km from Rättvik town centre. It offers modern rooms with free WiFi. The staff is wonderful, the location, the view, the breakfast, the decor - all sorts of cozy touches. There is even a binder in the room with all sorts of handy tips and information. My friend and I were there for a concert at nearby Dalhalla and I can't wait for an excuse to go back to this hotel and see more of the area.

Overlooking the River Lillån, this family-run hotel is quietly located in central Orsa. It offers a private bridge, a breakfast room with river views and rooms with free WiFi. Mikael and his wife were great hosts. We enjoyed a lot our stay

Lovely old hotel which although out of season was fully operational with great management and menu options Quite difficult to find fully open hotels in Northern Sweden in May so this was brilliant

Peacefully located by Lake Siljan, this Rättvik property features a private beach and waterfront terrace with panoramic lake views in a non alcoholic environment. The whole campus was beautiful and the accommodations themselves were so pretty and comfortable

Hotell Gyllene Hornet is located 1.5 km from Tällberg Train Station. It offers free WiFi and free private parking. Guests enjoy sauna access, a 20-metre indoor pool and views over Lake Siljan. It was out in the countryside where it was peaceful. It was also near Dalhalla where I attended a concert.

Overlooking Lake Siljan, this hotel is 1 km from Rättvik Train Station and the Storgatan shopping street. WiFi and parking are free. Access to a gym, hot tub and sauna is also free. Cute little find in town. Staff very responsive. Very nice breakfast buffet.
