Eksgården Gårdshotell is located in Gårdby on the eastern side of Öland island. This renovated building dates back to the 18th-century and offers hotel rooms and apartments. We were upgraded to a bigger room and the staff was always super nice and attentive. Everything in the breakfast basket was delicious and we loved the concept. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really confortable, and the common areas are so beautiful that we could have stayed just reading in the garden for hours. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good, although a bit on the pricey side. We'll be back for sure.

This charming family-owned manor is located 1 km from the city centre of the coastal village Borgholm on the island of Öland. Both WiFi and private parking are free. It was quiet located in a very nice place the breakfast was very good and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about what we should see

This hotel is definitely a gem of Öland. Very cosy, spacious and tidy room, great shared space with well-equipped kitchen. The personnel is super friendly. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant with traditional dishes cooked according to the recipe of the owner's family. A cold bottle of prosecco was delicious too. The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant is lovely. Perfect quality for the money.

Tento penzion sídlí ve zrekonstruovaném statku z 60. let 20. století a nabízí výhled na Baltské moře a neplodné vápencové pláně Stora Alvaret, zapsané na seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO. Our room was huge and comfortable, with a balcony and lovely views out over fields towards the sea. We had a well-equipped shared kitchen to ourselves as nobody else was staying on our floor during our stay. In the shared lounge area and room itself there were numerous useful and interesting books on the flora, fauna and history of the island. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely like to return.
