This Florida boutique hotel offers a spacious outdoor swimming pool. The property is 2.5 miles from the Miami International Airport and 4 miles from the waterfalls and grottoes of the Venetian Pool. We stayed only one night at this hotel near the airport for our return flight home and wished we could have stayed longer because our brief stay was so enjoyable. The first positive note was the upgrade we were kindly offered to a very nice and large business suite, which was perfectly soundproofed. Impeccable cleanliness, attentive, responsive, and prompt service at the front desk. Highly recommended!

Great location, only few minutes to Southernmost Point of the Continental U.S.A. Mallory Square is about 20 min walk along Duval St, where most of restaurant are. Staff at the Douglas House were exceptional, Jose is very friendly and helpful.
