We loved our terrace room and 17:30 dinner wich was carefully curated and delicious. Everything was excellent. This hotel has really good wibe.

Onyado Yuinosho býður upp á gufubað og ókeypis einkabílastæði og er í innan við 45 km fjarlægð frá Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village og 46 km frá Takayama-stöðinni. Environment was serene and peaceful. Private onsen availability was good and general onsen was enjoyable. Many facilities and additional features. Food was well beyond expectations (quality and quantity). A pricey accommodation, but well worth the spend if you are looking to splurg.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The hotel is super! The staff is very friendly and kind. The room is clean and very cozy. When you get to this hotel, you are completely immersed in Japanese culture and get acquainted with very unusual and delicious food. My family is delighted, I recommend

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The hotel is exceptional, we booked the traditional Japanese room, with tatami floor and breakfast and dinner. The onsen/hot baths were very pleasant (we only used the ones on the top floor), and even booked the private onsen at a fee, so we can enjoy privately as well. The dinner was amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive - everyone from the shuttle bus driver and receptionists to the restaurant staff. Mount Fuji is visible from the rooms and also from the nice little onsen on the top floor. The shuttle bus service is very convenient to and from Kawaguchiko station. Both the dinner and breakfast were great and plentiful. The view gets a bit better as you go further along the lakeshore away from Kawaguchiko station, but we found Hotel Asafuji to be good value for money and the wonderful service made it a very pleasant stay.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

Clean and newly furnished. Large and comfortable room. Quiet. Close to the train and bus station. Great service staff. Delicious breakfast.

Oyado Koto No Yume er í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Takayama-stöð og býður upp á litrík herbergi í japönskum stíl. The hosts did a lot to accommodate us and gave a very good service. We received some tea on arrival and some nice gifts upon departure and during our stay we could taste local sake and plum wine.
