Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Everything. The style of the hotel was awesome. The staff went above and beyond for us as a small family. The food was delicious.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Beautiful location, wonderful experience, very friendly staff! Would highly recommend! (And they’ll pick you up at the port)

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Very nice hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. Staff friendly, and the foot bath in front of the hotel was very welcome.

I Onomichi, 25 kilometer fra Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, ligger Azumi Setoda, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. Our stay at Azumi Setoda was exceptional from start to finish. The staff deserve special praise: unfailingly kind, attentive, and remarkably efficient . Every interaction felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are impeccably clean—truly spotless—with a sense of calm, light, making the space feel instantly relaxing. Housekeeping and presentation are flawless, and the atmosphere throughout the property is serene and elegant. The food is outstanding, from breakfast all the way to dinner. Each plate showed great care, quality ingredients, and fantastic balance of flavours. The sommelier is superb: extremely knowledgeable, with thoughtful pairings and explanations that elevate the entire dining experience. Unequivocally outstanding !!

I Tsuyama, 2 minutters gange fra Tsuyama Wonder Museum, ligger The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. By far the best hotel experience we had in our 1 month long trip to Japan. Hotel was easy to find with free parking and an excellent location with amazing service. Could have stayed here for a whole week with the castle views!

Shokinkan tilbyr gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet og rom med klimaanlegg i Yasugi. Great dinner service with lots of food. Vegetarian but was superb with alot of effort put into it. Breakfast was non-vegetarian and tasty. Service was good. As expected of a ryokan so don’t expect 5 star hotel quality but definitely comfortable and clean.

I Miyajima, 2,6 kilometer fra Tsutsumigaura-stranden, ligger Kinsuikan, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. The free drinks and ice cream on the rooftop bar was a nice touch. Great location. Easy walk from the ferry and to the sites of Myajima island.

I Tottori, bare 48 kilometer fra Daijoji Temple og 7,4 kilometer fra Tottori Sand Dunes ligger Kansuitei Kozeniya. The hospitality was exceptional.

I Onomichi, bare 25 kilometer fra Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine og 28 kilometer fra Saikon-ji Temple ligger Suminoe Ryokan. Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.
