Everything was wonderful. We were warmly greeted by the head monk and his staff. The facilities were amazing and the rooms gorgeous. The futons were comfortable and the food was genuinely the best we have had in Japan. Turns out the priest was trained as a chef in Kyoto. They were great catering to our vegan and gluten free needs.

Offering massage services and mountain view, Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) is situated in Kusatsu, 45 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park and 14 km from Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. This hotel made our trip to Kusatsu Onsen extra special and I am so glqd we chose this hotel. First of all, the owner is a very kind, bright, and nice person. She was always most helpful and kind (we would have made a big transport mistake without her help, she even called the bus company to help us find the best route). The rooms were modern Japanese, beautiful, spacious, and clean. There were comfortable yukatas to wear inside as well as ones to wear outside, which allowed us to enjoy touring Kusatsu in yukatas. On the day we arrived there was a delicious macha pudding waiting in the fridge! The amenities were excellent and everything was designed beautifully. The location is very near to everything you might want to see in Kusatsu Onsen while still being in a nice, peaceful spot. The main shopping streets, yubatake, a beautiful park full of hot springs, and so many other things are just a few minutes away. There is an onsen and a sauna at the hotel, the space is soothing, beautiful, and clean. Going to bathe there was a very relaxing way to end the day and really enjoy the onsen water Kusatsu is famous for. In these spaces too the amenities were excellent. We had an excellent experience and would certainly choose this hotel again. And thank you so much again to the very kind owner! :)

Offering river views, Minakamisansou is set in the Tanigawa Onsen district of Minakami, 36 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 39 km from Naeba Ski Resort. - Cleanliness and Service: The Ryokan was impeccably clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. - Panoramic Lounge View: The view from the lounge was spectacular. We arrived to a stunning sight of Tanigawa Mountain, which immediately set a serene tone for our stay. - Room Ambiance: We stayed in the "Tachibana" room, named after flowers. It was quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly spacious. The overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing city getaway. - Private Onsen: The private onsen was the highlight of our stay, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. - Dining Experience: Both dinner and breakfast were impressive, with beautifully prepared and delicious meals.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Location. It is very close to Yubatake. The place is very clean. I like that the baths are private because I am not comfortable being naked with other ladies.

The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.
