Possibly one of our best hotel stays ever. The hotel has a quiet beauty right out of a postcard, the staff are amazing and the food sublime. They did everything to make our stay perfect. The food is one of the best I ever had at a hotel, but western travellers should make sure to set expectations regarding the food which is very japanese, it was always interesting and perfectly executed but pushed us to our limits in some cases :)

This was the best onsen experience I've ever had. Room was amazing with a sauna and onsen actually in the room. However, it was the staff and the chef that made the stay the best ever! They took into consideration an allergy my son had to certain food type and went above and beyond to accommodate. They were all wonderful.

Located in Niseko, within 22 km of Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area and 16 km of Niseko Annupuri Hot Spring, Zaborin provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as... In a word everything. The property is like something out of a James Bond movie. The room was excellent with two onsen, one outside with an incredible view. The layout of the room and the decor were to our taste and amazing in its simplicity. This aspect was evident it the rest of the hotel, from the corridors with work windows strategically placed, to the communal areas. The Kaiseki dinners were also excellent and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful.

This hotel has thought of everything... from the welcome and expert check in, to waving us goodbye when we drove away at the end of our stay. The public bath set up is amazing and being allowed to go in when it's closed to take photos at 9.30-10am was much appreciated. We enjoyed our expansive mountain and sea views from our room. Meals were tasty and there were many options to choose from. We also enjoyed watching the promotions of the Shiretoko attractions in the comfort of the lounge chairs.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths and ocean views, Wakamatsu Hot Spring Resort is a 15-minute drive from JR Hakodate Station. Free parking is available on site. This was our absolute favorite hotel during our entire trip to Hokkaido! The hotel is incredibly beautiful, with aesthetic details everywhere you look. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. You can even book a private hot spring, which was such a special experience! We chose the breakfast-included option, and it was absolutely amazing—so delicious and abundant. On top of that, the restaurant’s view was breathtakingly beautiful. Our room was simply perfect—we loved it so much! It was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a stunning view of the ocean right outside. We are already looking forward to coming back again in the future! Thank you so much to the Wakamatsu and all the wonderful staff for giving us such a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

This property is literally located at the coastal line, a fascinating view from the room balcony and dining area. Breakfast was included, and it was surprisingly appetising as if served at a fine dining restaurant. The property operated since 2023, so everything is in a very good state. Everyone entering the place will need to take off their shoes at the reception, only allowed in their house slippers. There is individual r.emote to control the airon, heater (even for the bed). I liked the high ceiling in the room, that has a loft area to accommodate 2 more persons if needed. The service staff was wonderful and helpful extending help to us with our luggage. It was so relaxing watching the waves and seagulls busy at the shore.
