The hotel was a bit far from Gion and Kyoto station, but it is in a very peaceful area close to a small stream. I opted for the Japanese breakfast, which was delivered to my room by a friendly member of staff. The food itself was delicious. I also enjoyed using the cyprus bathtub that came with my room. It was the perfect way to relax after a long day of walking around Kyoto. The location is quiet and beautiful; perfect for someone looking for relaxation and taking in the sights of Kyoto. I would definitely recommend this establishment and I hope to visit again soon!

Very convenient hotel with lovely staff. Special thanks to Pierre who gave me full guidance about the city. Hotel has great location not far from Gion district and Nishiki market. Breakfast was great.

يقع Ryokan Ryokufuso على بعد 15 دقيقة سيرا على الأقدام من محطة قطار JR كيوتو ويقدم خدمة الواي فاي المجانية وحمام عام وواسع. يمكن للضيوف الاستمتاع بوجبة تقليدية متعددة الوجبات بمكونات كيوتو المحلية. الفندق نظيف جدا وتعامل الموظفين كان في قمة الرقي والتعاون وكانت تجربة جيده للاقامه في البيوت اليابانية (roycan )

يقع Morizuya قبالة شارع التسوق الرئيسي لمنطقة كينوساكي أونسن للمياه الساخنة، ويقدّم أماكن إقامة على الطراز الياباني الأصيل وحمامات ينبوعيّة ساخنة ومأكولات يابانيّة. Everything. Everything was impecable, and the attention from the staff was astounding.

Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. The dinners both nights were fabulous and the Onsen was also very nice and comfortable.

يعتبر Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in معبد بوذي يعود تاريخه إلى 1000 عام ويضم أماكن مُصممة على طراز ياباني وحديقة جميلة وتتوفر خدمة الواي فاي مجانًا. I had so many expectations and Ekoin delivered everything. The temple itself is gorgeous, it is over 1.000 years, but so well kept, just impecable tatamis, garden, paintings, artwork. Also, it is so close to Okunoin cementery...i loved this part of town, so calm, feels like another time. The shared restrooms were a concern before getting there, but they ended up being one of the best of our entire trip - the bath is at the onsen, but is was ok for a day. Also, they provide a guide book to temple etiquette/schedules -just READ IT, do not go to morning service wearing yukata and do not arrive late. The monks are kind enough to let it go, but it is very disrespectful. The food is great, even though we are not vegetarians, we loved shojing ryori! And our favourite part was the morning service and the goma/fire ritual, do not miss it.

يقع Seikoro Ryokan في كيوتو، وعلى بعد 7 دقائق بالسيارة من محطة JR كيوتو. ويضم أماكن إقامة على الطراز الياباني التقليدي، ويوفر حمام عام وخدمات المساج. We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.
