A traditional inn on a mountaintop with spectacular view. The tram ride up is fun, very Miyazaki :) Cozy and immaculate. Eiko and her mom and 2 poodles were welcoming and helpful. The private onsen was HOT and relaxing. Breakfast was a visual and tasty delight. Ikoma is a cool little hidden gem and the temple just above is magnificent and well worth a visit. It was my last night in Japan and I took the train from there to Osaka airport, very convenient. I hope to return and would recommend it to any traveller.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. From the very first moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful decor/landscaping and hospitable staff. The staff member(s) were excellent in explaining how to stay in a ryokan (as visitors with no experience, this was very helpful) by showing us around our room. We tried their restaurant's traditional Japanese breakfast and it was superb! Additionally, we booked a private onsen and it was so clean and relaxing, offering stunning views of the city. I cannot recommend this stay enough, we can't wait to go back!

Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや se nachází u rybníka Sarusawa-ike a nabízí veřejné lázně. Chrám Kofuku-ji je vzdálený pouhé 2 minuty chůze. Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma. It was incredible. We arrived early before check-in . Dropped our luggage, and the hotel is right at the entrance of the park. The staff is very polite and we had a wonderful tradiontal Japanese breakfast.

Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast se nachází v destinaci Nara a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Nara vlakové nádraží je 2,1 km daleko. Staying at Hotobil was one of my favorite parts of our whole trip to Japan - and the food was straight up the BEST (and we ate a lot of great meals out there). The location is super easy to access, just a minute away from the main tourist-friendly loop bus through town, in a quiet residential neighborhood - as soon as we stepped through the door, we felt at home, like we were visiting family, not a hotel. Our host is the nicest, most helpful lady, and the best cook. She was also so fast responding to our questions! My dad and I are both fish-ambivalent vegetarians and we made a last-minute request for breakfast (pictured! yes all that just for breakfast!) as well as dinner just a few days before we got there and as I said, they were the two best meals we had all trip. We stayed in the Japanese style tatami room, which was beautiful and almost absurdly spacious for two, with super comfy mattresses and fluffy pillows and duvets. It was enchanting, and we wished we were staying a second night (and yes, there's more than enough to see in Nara for two days).

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Location was wonderful. Seeing the fire ceremony and then the sun rise in the morning were both magical.

Kasuga Hotel se nachází 2 minuty chůze od nádraží Kintetsu-Nara, 5 minut jízdy taxíkem od vlakového nádraží JR Nara a 5 minut chůze od chrámu Kofuku-ji. Nabízí japonskou kuchyni a krásné veřejné... Spacious rooms Nice public bath on ground floor Excellent location. Not a ryokan but all japanese style.

Tsukihitei se nachází v lese Kasugayama Primeval, který je na seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO. Service and food were exceptional. The beauty and location in the ancient forest were exceptional.

Excellent. Welcoming and friendly staff. Super clean, wonderful surroundings, so many beautiful touches. Fresh flowers! .The Onsen was great. Breakfast was magnificent. Brilliant location in Nara. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, super clean. Nice toiletries. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much to everyone at Ryokan Asukasou.
