The hosts are absolutely amazing and super helpful + there is a little dog who‘se really cute! They offer port pick-up/drop-off and even took us to another beach. Also the breakfast was really nice :)

The room and the hotel in general are cosy and beautiful : the design is very well thought and the Ryokan feel is real. Special thanks to the staff that has been lovely, very kind and helpful, even with our changing plans. They are the best hotel staff we met so far in Japan. The view on the ocean from the room was stunning, as well as the bathtub on the room. The Onsen is great as well, with the ocean view and a nice sauna. We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfast at the hotel and the food was delicious and very generous, on the pricy side but very delicate, and it was convenient to eat at the hotel as we didn’t have a car. The massage was divine as well, the practitioner very talented. Thank you so much to the staff for such a lovely time at your hotel !

The property is near a lovely secluded beach where you can watch the sunset. The host is charming and makes you feel so welcome providing lots of information to help you navigate the island. We will definitely be back again.

Peaceful, charming, no frills & quiet atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The other reviews were accurate that the breakfast is amazing and adds great value to the experience. Would be happy to stay again.

Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. You can choose whether or not to have your room cleaned, and if you skip housekeeping, you receive a valuable voucher that can be used at the hotel’s restaurants and shops. The restaurants were good, and our favorite was the Asian fusion restaurant. Both the pools and the beach were very well maintained, and we really enjoyed sunbathing and swimming. The gym was more than sufficient, and we used it several times. The spa and massages were absolutely heavenly!
