It was the perfect accommodation, clean and fresh-looking. The staff were polite and very warm and super nice. The apartment had all the equipment and accessories necessary for everyday life. The rooms have thick triple glazed windows, so you basically do not even hear the trains passing by. The food store “Lidl” is located just a five-minute walking distance from the accommodation. The apartment has its own dining place and there is also a very good Italian restaurant and cocktail bar just around the corner. Parking is possible in the spacious underground garage for a reasonable additional price. The trains to Eibsee and to the cable car Zugspitze station depart from across the railway.

Situated in Wallgau, Alpenhof Wallgau is a recently renovated accommodation, 17 km from Richard Strauss Institute and 17 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen City Hall. We stayed in the penthouse and It was a beautiful apartment with an amazing view! The owner was very welcoming and helpful in explaining what to do in the area.

We were so lucky to receive a little upgrade to the Mountain View apartment. Thanks to Mirjam :) She was so friendly and nice. The apartment has everything you need and has a small sauna in the common area. Highly recommended!

The apartment itself is amazing, very clean and neat! With an amazing view of the Karwendel mountain! Right in the heart of Mittenwald. But what we loved the most was the restaurant underneath the apartment: Tischlein deck dich! Both belongs to the family that rented the apt. The chef Elia is the son and he gave us a complete MasterChef Experience! It was the best and most criative meal we ever had. He only uses local em natural ingredients, so the Menu is seasonal, witch makes ever more reasons to come back in different times. It was really amazing, incredibly!!! After dinner we had some drinks on the bar attached to the restaurant and had a chance to talk a little bit with Elia and changed some culinary tips. We gave him some Brasilien sweets to taste and he showed us some of his amazing ingredients.

Set within 500 metres of Museum Aschenbrenner and 1.1 km of Zugspitzbahn - Talstation in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, "Mittendrin" in Garmisch provides accommodation with seating area. Andrea was always very easy to communicate with, the apartment was even better than in the photos, well located, it was all very clean and organized. Wy sister and I would definitely stay here again in a next trip.

Situated in Ettal and only 12 km from Burgruine Werdenfels, Zur alten Schmiede features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Easy access and parking for our large van. The host was quick to answer questions and very kind. The apartment is very well stocked with everything you might need to eat/prepare meals. There is also a cabinet available with extra toiletries/essentials in case those were forgotten. There are many fliers available with information about various places to visit and things to do. The visitor cards were a nice surprise with many options for use. The area is beautiful and we wished we could have explored/enjoyed it for a few more days.
