Offering city views, O Cantinho do Colégio - Dourocollege is an accommodation set in Lamego, 15 km from Douro Museum and 34 km from Natur Waterpark. We just stayed for one night as we were passing through and attending festivities in nearby villages, but we could have easily have stayed for longer. Very central to everything. Really clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. Perfect and really good value for such luxury. There is also a surprise chapel on the second floor. Bonus! Thumbs up from us.

The property was amazing perched high above the township. Stunning setting and views. We were warmly welcomed by Antonio and Cristina. Both hosts could not do enough for us. Our best accommodation in the Douro Valley and has set the standard for all other bookings we have for our Europe trip. Guys NZ

Set in Vila Real, 12 km from Natur Waterpark, City Hall Apartments offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The location was centrally located, right on the town square which meant easy access to restaurants and local attractions. Great location to stay if you wish to visit wineries.

Offering city views, Casa Ponte Pedrinha is an accommodation set in Tarouca, 11 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary and 20 km from Douro Museum. The property was clean, spacious, the bed’s mattresses and linen were top notch and helped me having and lovely well rested sleep

Located in Vila Real, 14 km from Natur Waterpark, Casa dos Correios provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. It was located in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a new property with four spacious rooms with 12 foot ceilings. It was once part of the post office building and the owner Paulo has taken a great measure of detail in adding a postal theme to the property. If you admire history and culture you will want to meet Paulo for a wonderful orientation. Although breakfast isn’t included there is a spacious area with utensils / dishes and coffee and tea for you to prepare on your own. There is a supermarket just a four minute walk away. As with locations in many old town areas parking is not included however there was ample paid on street parking within a one minute walk.

Located in Marialva, Chalês - Maria Alva provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. A tranquilidade do local! O alojamento é simplesmente maravilhoso! E a simpatia da D.Odete e do Sr.michel!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a rooftop pool, garden view and a balcony, QUINTA DA FAÍSCA - Agro Turismo is located in Favaios. Amazing place - the highlight of our trip! There is so much that was great. The new accommodation is fabulous - 2 bed apartments, one a mezzanine, with the most tremendous architecture and stunning views over the Quinta’s valley. Fernanda was an extraordinary hostess, she went far out of her way to give us an intimate tour of the wine production and a perfect sunset tasting with nibbles. You really are a part of the farm, not separate - we were encouraged to wander through the vineyards and pick almonds from the trees. The Quinta is on a beautiful plateau with quiet roads, great for local wanders and runs, rural with dreamy views. The wine was amazing - some of the best while we had all the trip, and tremendous value. The swimming pool is quite chilly, though location is perfect, nestled in the vineyards.

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, D'Autor Village is a recently renovated villa set in Valadares, 23 km from Douro Museum. Everything! Outstanding location, amazingly beautiful and full of charm. Hospitable and friendly staff, magical feel to it. I Recommend wholeheartedly!!!

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, the recently renovated Casa da Margarida offers accommodation 17 km from Longroiva Hot Springs and 41 km from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum. Clean modern good parking on street good restaurant nearby sorry we only had one night there. Owner easily reachable.
