O Cantinho do Colégio - Dourocollege ligger 16 minuters promenad från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary i Lamego och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. We just stayed for one night as we were passing through and attending festivities in nearby villages, but we could have easily have stayed for longer. Very central to everything. Really clean and modern. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. Perfect and really good value for such luxury. There is also a surprise chapel on the second floor. Bonus! Thumbs up from us.

Ett fantastiskt boende. Varje detalj är genomtänkt och generös. Vi träffade aldrig värdparet men de var som osynliga féer som tog hand om oss på bästa sätt. Den rikliga frukostlådan och allt annat i lägenheten som vi kunde ta del av. Och att ha en underbar pool bara för oss själva med denna vidunderliga utsikt!! Lyx!

City Hall Apartments ligger i Vila Real och erbjuder boende med en terrass och gratis WiFi, 12 km från Natur Waterpark och 26 km från Douro Museum. The location was centrally located, right on the town square which meant easy access to restaurants and local attractions. Great location to stay if you wish to visit wineries.

Casa Ponte Pedrinha ligger i Tarouca och erbjuder boende med utsikt över staden, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 11 km från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. The property was clean, spacious, the bed’s mattresses and linen were top notch and helped me having and lovely well rested sleep

Casa dos Correios ligger 14 km från Natur Waterpark och erbjuder en terrass och boende med en uteplats och gratis WiFi. It was located in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a new property with four spacious rooms with 12 foot ceilings. It was once part of the post office building and the owner Paulo has taken a great measure of detail in adding a postal theme to the property. If you admire history and culture you will want to meet Paulo for a wonderful orientation. Although breakfast isn’t included there is a spacious area with utensils / dishes and coffee and tea for you to prepare on your own. There is a supermarket just a four minute walk away. As with locations in many old town areas parking is not included however there was ample paid on street parking within a one minute walk.

QUINTA DA FAÍSCA - Agro Turismo har en utomhuspool, en trädgård och en terrass och erbjuder boende i Favaios med gratis WiFi och utsikt över poolen. Amazing place - the highlight of our trip! There is so much that was great. The new accommodation is fabulous - 2 bed apartments, one a mezzanine, with the most tremendous architecture and stunning views over the Quinta’s valley. Fernanda was an extraordinary hostess, she went far out of her way to give us an intimate tour of the wine production and a perfect sunset tasting with nibbles. You really are a part of the farm, not separate - we were encouraged to wander through the vineyards and pick almonds from the trees. The Quinta is on a beautiful plateau with quiet roads, great for local wanders and runs, rural with dreamy views. The wine was amazing - some of the best while we had all the trip, and tremendous value. The swimming pool is quite chilly, though location is perfect, nestled in the vineyards.

D'Autor Village ligger i Valadares och erbjuder en pool, en trädgård, en terrass, gratis WiFi och utsikt över bergen. Everything! Outstanding location, amazingly beautiful and full of charm. Hospitable and friendly staff, magical feel to it. I Recommend wholeheartedly!!!
