Floor-to-ceiling windows are a prominent feature of Hotel Huber Hochland’s fitness and relaxation rooms which provide panoramic views of the Bannwald Forest and surrounding Maurach countryside. Although we stayed at Hotel Huber for only one night, it was enough to make us want to return as soon as possible. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff was so kind, allowing us to enjoy the dinner included in our half-board reservation. The dinner was simply wonderful – one of the best meals we had in Austria! The place is charming, and the rooms we stayed in were beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The hospitality of the Huber family was warm, caring, and truly attentive. The only downside was that our stay was far too short. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality – we highly recommend this place!

Situated in Pertisau, 45 km from Ambras Castle, NOVA Moments Boutique Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Everything was perfect. Room bigger than expected, perfect service, friendly owners and employees, great wellness and garden, delicious breakfast and a beautiful location. It seems high priced but when you realise what is included in the price, it is not at all

Offering mountain views, Cabin8 Alpine Flair Apartments is an accommodation situated in Pertisau, 45 km from Ambras Castle and 45 km from Imperial Palace Innsbruck. What a great place! Next level apartments. Feels like home. Fully equipped rooms, even a sauna in the bathroom, breakfast service on request, games to play (and drinks from the bar if you like) in the reception area, washing machine and dryer if needed, charger for electric car. It was really great. The accomodation is very well thought through in details, and also: nicely designed information booklets with activities (you can find that on the website, looks really nice!), hiking information booklets in the apartment upon arrival. All in all a great stay, very close to the beautiful lake and closely cable cars. We took the Rofan one in Maurach (short drive) and had a great time up in the mountains. Panoramic views to dream of! And of course the hiking route along the Achensee, recommended and also good available with a dog. We will definitely come back if we go to the Achensee again!

Boasting mountain views, Gasthof Dorfwirt Sandgruber Ges.m.b.H provides accommodation with balcony, around 45 km from State Museum of Tyrol - Ferdinandeum. Very clean, comfortable bed Nicely decorated room Good restaurant (recommend to make a reservation for a dinner in advance, Wednesday close)

Our stay at Martina’s apartment was absolutely wonderful. The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged — perfect for relaxing as a family. The view was lovely, and everything felt peaceful and welcoming. Martina was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. She even gifted my wife a delicious homemade strawberry jam, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It made us feel truly cared for. We had a great time with my wife and our three children. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we made beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway.

Boasting free bikes, bar and views of mountain, Camping Inntal is situated in Wiesing, 38 km from Ambras Castle. This property offers a pool with a view and free private parking. The cabin is awesome, the best sleep I got in Austria! The bathroom and showers are very nice, the heating in the cabin works great. The restaurant is beautiful and very good. They have a small shop where you can purchase milk and groceries for the day.

Posthotel Achenkirch Resort and Spa - Adults Only in Achenkirch has 5-star accommodation with a terrace, a bar and a tennis court. We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel. The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange. All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!
