The barrier-free eduCARE Hotel in Treffen is a 10-minute walk away from the banks of the Ossiachersee Lake. It offers a restaurant with a garden terrace and free Wi-Fi. The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

Located in Sattendorf in the Carinthia region and Fortress Landskron reachable within 5.8 km, Landhaus Marmorata provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, water sports facilities... Great accommodation and very convenient in every way. Lovely hostess that gave us some great tips for the visit.

Featuring lake views, Top 28 Alpe Maritima - Gerlitzen Gipfelstürmer provides accommodation with a patio, around 3.9 km from Fortress Landskron. Excellent Apartment with great view . The apartment is equipped with literally everything you will need ( Fully equipped kitchen with cleaning set in cute box , washing machine and iron facilities, fast speed Internet, TV with streaming services like Netflix, there is a dedicated parking space just outside the building, an elevation that reach every floor and there was an AC in our apartment not that we need it as the weather was nice and there was mosquito net on the window and balcony doors) . Beautiful view of the lake and 3 Grocery store nearby and they direct you to a access to a beach nearby to swim or paddle on the lake . Villach center is approximately 10 Min drive .

Ferienhaus Burgblick is centrally located in Treffen in the Carinthia Region, 2 km from Lake Ossiach and the Gerlitzen Ski Area and the Kanzelbahn Lower Terminus. The host was very welcoming, transparent and we appreciated all the good recommendations provided. Location is fantastic, close to Gerlitzen, close to the Lake and many attractions. We enjoyed the Adler Arena, Familywald, hiking to the Finsterbach waterfalls and the Gerlitzen Peak. The restaurant across from the location is also fantastic(zum Treffner).

Set in Ossiach, 12 km from Fortress Landskron, Pension Neuhof offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. Nice host! Nice breakfast, amazing view and facilities. Very good value for money

Set in Bodensdorf in the Carinthia region and Fortress Landskron reachable within 11 km, Ferienwohnungen Steger offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a private beach area and... We visited for the 2nd time. Great property by the lake. To our surprise they updated the toilet and the bathroom since our last visit. Will come back again.

Located in Annenheim, Atelier Ronacher is 70 metres from the Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn Cable Car and just 100 metres from the shore of Lake Ossiach. Every thing is available and like home All facilities are next to you I rent car so travel even easy very very good view every day and night won’t be last for me for sure

Outstanding apartment with friendly hosts. Extremely well equipped, spacious and with beautiful lake views. Fresh bakery products can be ordered the evening before and delivered each morning. 10 minutes drive down to a well-stocked supermarket, 10 minutes walk to a superb restaurant. Many activities in the area such as cycling, hiking, boat trips, swimming (included in the rental price was a 'Karnten Card' which gave free admission to lots of activities including the local cable car a saving of more than €30 each time!). Fabulous.
