A newly built hotel, very modern and thoughtfully designed. We rented a chalet—a small, two-story house equipped with a sauna, kitchen, artificial fireplace, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a huge spacious living room. The reception and staff, in general, were very friendly and helpful. We did encounter some issues with the drain spigot in the bathroom, but it was fixed quickly and with good humor. However, I would recommend replacing this type of spigot as its design is rather unusual, i would say even strange. The area around the hotel is a paradise for skiing enthusiasts. Words can’t do it justice—you really have to see it for yourself. The hotel is situated at an elevation of 1,400 meters, ensuring plenty of snow even when it’s raining in the valley. However, you’ll need chains to drive up there, as the road can be tricky with snow and ice. Breakfast was excellent, though it’s served in another building about a 5-minute walk away. The walk, however, is a pleasant one with breathtaking mountain views, so there’s no reason to complain. The restaurant staff could improve table management, as tables for 4–6 were sometimes occupied by just two guests—though they were likely enjoying the mountain views with their morning coffee. The InterSport shop on-site provides all the ski equipment you might need, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. We also tried the skiing school for our 8-year-old daughter. While I’m not sure if the group lessons were worth the cost, the private lesson made a significant difference. To sum up in a few words: this is truly a snow paradise!

Krásný nový prostorný apartmán, vše čisté, dobře vybavená kuchyně, dokonce i ostré nože, oddělený záchod. Bezproblémová a rychlá komunikace s domácím, snaha vyjít vstříc, drobné pozornosti, které sice nejsou nezbytné, ale potěší.

Appartement Hess Hinterstoder nabízí ubytování v destinaci Hinterstoder. Großer Priel se nachází 12 km odtud. V ubytování je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma a na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Dokonalé ubytování - klidné, čisté, světlé, prostorné, perfektně vybavené; instrukce k předání klíčů jasné; lokalita ideální. Zkrátka doporučuji:)

Nicely equipped apartment with everything you could need and a nice assortment of breakfast items. You can easily walk to the nearby town via a gravel trail. Parking is located just next to the apartment.

The location is a fairy tale with beautiful nature and many tracks around. The active card was really helpful and we used it multiple times for going up, for the swimming pool or in Wurzeralm.

This apartment has it all - comfy beds, fully equiped kitchen, even Netflix and fluffy slippers, you name it. Located in a lovely valley with mountain views on each side it is the best choice for your holiday. We were traveling with our 6month old, so wasching machine was a big help. To top it all, as a welcome gift, se found a basket full of yummy things. Definitely will come back!

Perfect location as a starting and ending point towards the cable car for skiing. Very nice host. The apartment is large enough for four. Nice and perfect place, can recommend.

Tohle bylo naše nejlepší ubytování v Rakousku. Paní majitelka je opravdu milá a laskavá. Apartmán je prostorný, útulný a čistý. Byli jsme ubytováni i se psem a bez problému.

This is a great family hotel in a beautiful valley. It's very close to Hinterstoder with its ski lift that brings you in the mountains for winter and summer activities. When you stay at the hotel, you get a pass with free entrance and discounts to many places. Thus, the ski lift is free as well. The staff is very friendly and an extra bonus point for this place is that they prepare a great meal. We had venison on the first night and it was so good that we took it on the second night again.
