Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan. 100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there.

Offering lake views, Casa Franceschini is set in the Orselina district of Locarno, 1.8 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 8.3 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. This place was very comfortable with beautiful views! It was rainy part of the time but we had plenty of room for the four of us, with a comfortable couch in the living room and a table to play cards. The view from the deck, which also had a table, was amazing. Helpful hosts downstairs. We took the bus from the train station and then figured out which steps (not a huge amount) to walk up and our host saw us and gave us the keys and a tour. Cooked a basic dinner one night in the kitchen. It was nice to have the coffee machine and pods there, as it made excellent coffees. Also a nice selection of teas.

Boasting a garden and views of river, "CHALET dei FIORI" room & apartment is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Bedretto, 34 km from Devils Bridge. Fantastic location, perfectly clean room, easy communication with Mauro who was very helpful.

Set in Faido, in a historic building, 40 km from Devils Bridge, Chalet Piumogna is a chalet with a garden and shared lounge. This was an awesome place to stay. Great communication and the chalet was perfect. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large outdoor space, and we loved the authenticity of the chalet. We would love to come back and stay again with more friends. It was also a close walk to restaurants and grocery stores.
