We really liked the location and the apartment. One of the top places we have been so far. Oh and the free minibar drinks was a pleasant surprise.

Offering lake views, Casa Franceschini is set in the Orselina district of Locarno, 1.8 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 8.3 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The host is super. The house was real house, not a cheap made B&B house for rent. I respect the works they put in the house. The view was spectacular. The location is just wonderful in a small town above Locarno. They have parks, and a grocery store where they sell fresh pastry. There are cafes and reasonable restaurants in the area, too. Our kids went crazy using buses and cable cars to go back and forth between the Locarno city centre and the lake. Thank you!

Set in Faido, in a historic building, 40 km from Devils Bridge, Chalet Piumogna is a chalet with a garden and shared lounge. This was an awesome place to stay. Great communication and the chalet was perfect. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large outdoor space, and we loved the authenticity of the chalet. We would love to come back and stay again with more friends. It was also a close walk to restaurants and grocery stores.
