The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family! The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

This traditional, family-run hotel offers rooms with mountain views and free Wi-Fi internet in the centre of Oberammergau. The main train station is less than 300 metres from the hotel. We stayed in a family room in Hotel Antonia and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went out of their way to make sure guests were looked after — even during breakfast, they checked in several times to see if we needed anything. As we were leaving, they surprised our little boy with a small toy, which made him so happy. It's those thoughtful touches that make a place truly memorable. Highly recommended for families!
