I Gmunden, 44 kilometer fra Messe Wels, ligger Boutiquehotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen, som har et treningsstudio, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en terrasse. Location was phenomenal, very close to the lakefront. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The rooftop sauna was exceptional as well, and there are even two mountain bikes at the hotel for more adventurous guests. The breakfast was very nice, with a lot of hearty food options to suit different tastes. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly, answering all of our questions about the room and surrounding area, and making us feel welcome. The customer service definitely stood out :)

Everything was just fine - nice clean room, great breakfast and dinner, just 10-15 mins walk to the very center of the town. The fitness room is great - I was able to do my regular fitness exercises as usual. And the swimming pool is amazing - quite long for such a small hotel. Next time in Gmunden will defined stay here again

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl. Charming and comfortable with a delicious breakfast and wonderful pool

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See 4 Stern Superior is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. We loved the views, the spa area and general calm of the hotel. The chef is absolutely incredible and still has us raving about the dinners we had.

This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. A high-standard hotel – clean, well-maintained, and pleasant. The spa is excellent, with spacious relaxation areas (actually two different rooms), various saunas, and a beautiful infinity pool. We had dinner at one of the more modern restaurants. The meal itself felt a bit confusing in terms of concept

Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The location was marvelous, the staff were were extremely friendly especially the receptionist called Nadine. In the evening, we had the dinner in the restaurant and the staff were unbelievably welcoming. The morning there was a guy that the smile never left his face and a lady with a little girl who we assume as one of the owners was extremely welcoming. The rooms given to us were extremely spacious. We loved the stay in the hotel and will definitely visit again

Just a short stroll from the scenic Traunsee Lake, our hotel is set in the picturesque mountain surroundings of the Salzkammergut region, ideally located between Gmunden and the heart of Altmünster. The wellness facilities were excellent, and breakfast was tasty. The staff is friendly.
