The apartment was exceptionally clean and spacious with full equipment for cooking food and seperate bike storage. The staff were kind and professional about cleaning the apartment. Best of all, the sauna provided an excellent way of unwinding after a long day of biking to the apartment. I recommend anyone looking to stay in Melk stay in Alstadt apartments, especially those biking in on two wheels.

In a scenic location in the Wachau region overlooking the town of Krems, The 4-star superior Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems is 2 km from the centre. It offers a large spa area, and a restaurant. Super location in the center. The room was comfortable with a nice view to the castle. The parking was very convenient in the front of the hotel. Very rich breakfast. Everything was excellent.

The location, the rural house, the decoration and the very good usage of the place. The owner, Anna is a very nice, polite and friendly person.

The quality of the spa was unexpectedly fabulous, and appreciated after cycling for several days. Comfortable room and beds. Our dinner was very good, eating outside on their patio. Good breakfast and well set up for cyclists.

This family-run 4-star hotel lies hidden between the vineyards of the Wachau, about 900 metres west of the historic town of Dürnstein. The hotel is located on the Danube shore, with a spectacular view over surrounding hills and Danube from upper rooms, close to city, yet in a very quiet location. The room is spacios and very clean, the restaurant is offering quality food , breakfast is very good. Parking place at the hotel ground level is a plus. And the night sky view is magnificent (due to outside town hotel location)
