Hotel Post Wrann is a traditional hotel with over 200 years of history right in the centre of Velden, only a few steps from the casino and Lake Wörthersee. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. The hotel is excellent, beautifully furnished, exceptionally large rooms with a spacious bathroom and lovely balcony right in the heart of Velden. The spa is very nice and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of options available. The restaurant is very good and we ate lunch and dinner there also and it was very good. We also took advantage of the free bicycle option and cycled all the way around Lake Worthersee, a very nice trip. Expensive but standard for the location. We didn't use the lake access but were given passes if we had wanted to do so.

The Seehotel Das JO. in Pörtschach offers a private beach with deck chairs and sunshades right on the shore of Lake Wörth, only a few metres away. Nice views and good parking options.

Located in the middle in the sunniest bay of Pörtschach, at the flower promenade directly by the lake, the Seehotel Dr. Jilly is surrounded by an idyllic garden with its own wide beach. Excellent location, beautiful, a little bit old fashioned, very elegant hotel, very kind staff.

This is a historical hotel that was renovated for a modern hotel. The restaurant end the brekfest is excellent. For me better than ever before.

Surrounded by a private 30,000 m² park, the 4-star superior Seehotel Europa Resort is only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Wörth and the centre of Velden. It offers a private beach. Great hotel with very helpful staff and great location. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. many options for breakfast and a very nice rooftop bar with delicious snacks and drinks.
