The Perun Hotel enjoys a peaceful location next to the large city park on the edge of Sandanski. It offers fine Bulgarian cuisine. The room was clean and comfortable, the spa facilities were relaxing, and the staff were very kind. Perfect place for a peaceful couple’s escape. Would definitely come back!

I had a lovely time with my mom. Really relaxing in the middle of the nature and by walking distance to the city center otherwise you can be there in 5 min by taxi. The hotel is very beautiful, big, spacious, comfortable, clean, it feels like home. So many plants and very green. The service is great. Very nice breakfast and we had our lunches and dinners there and the food and drinks were really good. The room is very spacious, with a cute terrace and we could hear the water from the river which was very peaceful. The swimming pool is lovely. I definitely recommend and will go back there if I come back to Sandanski.

The hotel is VERY well maintained. Loved the warm rooms, comfy beds, the staff are absolutely fantastic, and the spa is great. You have a safe place for your ski equipment with heated rods for your ski shoes. Food is nice, maintenance was nice, we absolutely loved it. And I loved the personalized message for our welcome. I mean it’s the little things. 🤗 There’s a free shuttle to take you to the gondola every half an hour in the morning, and to get you back afterwards. The daily coffee and water in the rooms is awesome.

Being the only ski-in and ski-out hotel in Bansko, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko is located in the very heart of the mountain resort, right across the Gondola lift station. My wife and I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel in Bansko, and while most of the experience was exceptional, there were a couple of things worth noting. First, the breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10. The egg station was a standout, with fresh and perfectly prepared dishes each morning. The variety and quality were excellent. We were served by Darko during dinner, and he was truly exceptional. His wine recommendations were spot-on, and he made our dining experience special. Props to him for his impeccable service. The reception was welcoming and efficient, and the pool area was fantastic—well-maintained and the perfect spot to relax. However, one thing that bothered us was the lack of enforcement of the restaurant’s dress code. While there is a policy in place, we noticed people dining in shorts, and worse, some were even blowing their noses at the tables, but everything else was exceptional.

Room was spacious and very welcoming clean. Though upgrading is going on in the surroundings, we had a good night sleep. The breakfast spread was great and the staff was friendly and nice.
