Established in 1887, the 5-star Splendide Royal with its turn-of-the-century character is Lugano's most fashionable hotel, located on Lugano's lakeside main street. The staff was absolutely amazing! In addition to the hotel being historic and beautiful, the staff went above and beyond. It was my birthday, and they surprised me with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates. That was in addition to the bottle of wine they gave us upon arrival to welcome us to their beautiful hotel.

I loved everything about this property, we had an exceptional experience during our stay at this hotel , I knew that we booked a 5-star hotel but I was not sure expecting this outstanding experience in regards to the kindness and welcoming manners of the staff , cleanliness of the apartment , the vast of space of the apartment and how cozy the hotel was during this autumn/ early winter time. This by far , and I am a well-travelled person, is the best hotel / resort experience I ever had in my life.

Right on the shores of Lake Lugano and within walking distance of the Old Town of Lugano, the 5-star Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola is set within a private, subtropical park. All our needs were met! The staff is incredible, they really do go above and beyond for you. The lake view room was amazing. The facilities were great, we loved the spa area and pools. The lakeside lounge area was gorgeous. The evening piano player was an unexpected bonus!

Built in 1914 and located 850 meters above sea level, Kurhaus Cademario- Adults Only has massage, relaxation and steam rooms. The location is absolutely stunning and the hotel itself is not too big , which makes it very very special and ideal for a weekend getaway in peace.

The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of items. The room was very clean and had a balcony with a great view of the lake. The room was very quiet and the housekeeping was exceptional.
