Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. The indoor pools and the outdoor jacuzzi were the highlights of our stay. The view in the morning was also breathtaking (I recommend a room with a view to the Matterhorn).

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. Location of the hotel is great. Out of the train station, walk 10 minutes and hotel is just right at the left. Breakfast is the highlight. Very sumptuos and generous spread. Would like to compliment the boss. He brings vibe and energy from his great smile and service.

Dinner in the restaurant great, friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful, all in all a great stay. lots of history around the building mid town. Right beside Bains de saillon! The apartment is lovely! Michel, the host was super friendly and kind and made the experience just wonderful. Made us feel very welcome!
