For over 160 years, the Europäischer Hof Heidelberg has stood for genuine hospitality and timeless elegance. We love everything about this little gem of a hotel. The decor is always beautiful but was made even more so with its holiday decorations that are elegant and distinctive. The staff is both competent and friendly and it's just always a wonderful experience to stay here. It's one of our reasons for visiting Heidelberg!

Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

I ate at the restaurant every night and the quality of the food was amazing.
