It was a truly unique stay! The room was very clean, and the pools are for everyone to enjoy. The reception team was outstanding – I arrived at lunch time (not included in my booking), but they kindly invited me to have lunch while preparing my documents. Later, they even allowed me to check out after the official deadline, which is a rare favor usually only found in very high-standard hotels. As for the food, there are many restaurants with a wide variety of choices, catering to different tastes. Personally, I feel the quality could be slightly improved – the food was acceptable but not really delicious. Of course, this is just my personal point of view, and not everyone may agree. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I highly recommend it to any family who wants to relax and enjoy their vacation.

SUNRISE Tucana Resort -Grand Select se nachází v Hurghadě a nabízí prvotřídní all-inclusive koncept. Ubytování je vzdálené 27 km od nového přístavu a 28 km od ostrova Giftun. The first thing you notice about the property is its stunning Aesthetic beautiful pools, beach and facilities. The resort boasts 7 restaurants and leaves little to be desired. Upon check in my partner and I immediately decided the 2 days we had booked weren’t enough…that’s when we learned the resort wasn’t just pretty pool bars and beautiful balconies the staff at the resort were without fault. Specifically Ahmed Adel (we asked his last name bc there are many 🙂) Ahmed helped us smoothly book another night and made everything in our stay feel like it was his pleasure to assist with. With his above and beyond attitude and welcoming attitude it was hard not to believe him when he “welcomed us home”. The staff also periodically checked in with us from the house keeping to managers and bar keeps always asking us if everything was going well. It’s clear that the service is just as high as the beautiful vision of the resort and we are already planning our next stay.

Perfect hotel, heated pool (very important once travelling with kids). Arrived around 6 am - they kindly provided us a room for additional charge (really thankful for this as we have sleepless whole night flight). Personnel is very friendly, food variety is rich, Italian restaurant is rally very tasty, animators are creative, they have a nice cultural program and all in all very positive atmosphere. Love it! I would probably add slippers and bathrobe to the room, but other than that - very nice stay!

The Makadi Spa Hotel - Couples Only 18 Years Plus se nachází v destinaci Hurghada a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a soukromou pláží. The variety of high-quality food - all being part of the all-inclusive formula - was a plus. The fact that you can eat à la carte both during lunch and dinner, could please us a lot. The Cove was a nice and cosy alternative to the bigger World buffet restaurant for breakfast. The new SPA facilities are top-level, but expensive. Upon arrival, it's a good thing to use Mr. Hanna's offer to make a reservation for you in the dining restaurants for your whole stay, since capacity is limited in the à-la-carte restaurants in the evening. In that way we had the pleasure to explore the oriental cuisine, the Spanish and Italian restaurant (the good stuff, pizza you can find in the other restaurants), a Carribean experience at The Cove, and the Mariscos Fish Restaurant. The team of divers guided us with great patience and one-on-one in an initial diving initiation (we had never been diving before). The house reef allows you to see some very colorful sorts of fish, even during snorkelling. The main pool was heated, the Infinity pool unfortunately was not. Management is very aware of the problem with the small pool tiles coming off, but it never disturbed us during our stay, to be honest. Suggestion: compare the price rates of the excursion partner of the hotel, with for example Getyourguide or Booking, in order to have a correct price for your excursions at the end of the day.

Pickalbatros White Beach Resort - Hurghada se nachází přímo u Rudého moře v Hurghadě, 5 km od nového přístavu, a nabízí soukromou písečnou pláž s venkovním bazénem, dětským hřištěm a terasou. Toto byl náš čtvrtý hotel v síti Pickalbatros a opět jsme nebyli zklamáni. Malý rezort, všude se dá dojít za 5 minut, nikdo nevyžadoval bakšiš, nabízení služeb a zájezdů bylo nenásilné, stačilo jedenkrát říci ne a dotyčný už nepřišel. Všichni usměvaví, milí. Výborné jídlo, výborná galavečeře na Štědrý den i na Silvestra. Pro nás byl program na Štědrý den i na Silvestra trošku nudný, tančení mi přišlo na jedno brdo. To samé večerní animační programy. Na pláži jsme si oblíbili Mohameda Ismaela, který nás zásoboval veškerým pitím, báječný muž. Moře hodně mělké, na plavání to nebylo. Na pláži nefoukal kupodivu vítr, u bazénů bylo poměrně chladněji. Boty do vody netřeba, šnorchlovací potřeby také ne, není tam nic k vidění. Pokoj skvělý, denně uklizeno, doplněny nápoje, k dispozici přezůvky a župan. Na mě velmi vysoké polštáře, ale jsem poučena, vozím si vlastní.
