Our rooms were fantastic and we even had a huge parlor room where we could hang out with the other couple travelling with us. It's a beautiful building and we felt like we were staying in a fancy private villa. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were great. Pleasant views from the rooms. Fabulous location to walk in the interesting and pretty town of La Bourboule. Easy street parking. The owners were extremely kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our breakfast with the owner's homemade yogurt and met some very nice other travelers over breakfast. Highly recommend La Villa Francois Premier if you're visiting La Bourboule.

We arrived 6 hrs after our designated time of arrival because of flooding, storms and detours amidst traffic chaos to a relaxed, happy and accommodating staff that made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The service, amenities and attention to detail is without a doubt unsurpassable. Breakfast was delicious.

This is an excellent hotel in Salers. Decor is a bit dated, but all was in excellent shape. The managers and staff were all superb - real nice and helpful. Ask for a room with a view over the ramparts and fields - lovely. Great shower, comfortable beds, quiet and good WI-FI.
