The breakfast location was great, with a view of the Kanchanjunga. (Unfortunately, it was fogged in and not visible during our stay). The food had a great variety and they menu varied every day. Plus, they made fresh dosas and omlettes. The dinners were also excellent, varied menu during our four-day stay. We would particularly like to recognize the staff, who were ever helpful and polite. Divya and Pem deserve special mention. At our dinners, Divya was sweet and attentive to our every need and comfort. Pem was similarly very attentive to our needs, particularly, Kadha in the mornings as I had developed a cold. All in all, an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Taj Guras.

Mellow Fellow Hostel ligger i Gangtok, med Namgyal Institute of Tibetology bare 1,8 kilometer unna. I had such a lovely time at Mellow Fellow, I stayed for over a week. The staff, especially Sandi and Annie, are great people who really made the stay special. They are fun, friendly, and have a wealth of knowledge about Sikkim. The facilities are also very comfortable, with clean rooms and a vibey common area. Of course, the location is also perfect for exploring MG Marg with dozens of restaurants nearby. Mellow fellow should be your only choice when visiting Gangtok.
