This place is so beautiful, with such amazing views, and the host Serena is just lovely. She provides breakfast on the beautiful terrace each morning with food fresh from the farm, you can try their wine. If she offers you dinner you should definitely take it - it’s the best food we’ve had in Italy so far. It’s also served in a beautiful glass house on the terrace which is completely stunning and has amazing views (I actually think it would be ideal for a small wedding). The rooms are lovely too! And there is an outdoor bar area, bowls, a pool, the terrace. We wish we had stayed for an extra day so we could spend another day just chilling here.

Now I understand why the reviews are so good! Everything is so thoughtfully done. Firstly, the shuttle is a great bonus to be picked up at the station promptly and driven a short distance to the beautiful quaint/remote location of Villanova, surrounded by greenery! The views were stunning. Then to be warmly greeted by the staff, who were beyond friendly/kind and very informative. There is even a golf buggy which dropped us off to the doorstep of our room. The room is traditional, very clean and the bed was spacious and so comfy! There is so much on offer, massages/local tours(olive oil tasting/cooking classes/yoga)/we rented e-bikes for the day to take us to the centre of town, which was a lot of fun! Also, the pool facilities are incredible, clean, tranquil and so relaxing. The photos don’t do this beautiful place justice. Then the breakfast was perfect, everything local, huge selection and lovely outdoor seating area. As you can tell, I couldn’t recommend it more and we absolutely loved our stay there! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the valley. The bathroom was a good size, though the shower was a bit small. Breakfast was average, but the staff went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The restaurant and bar are highly recommended, especially after exploring Cinque Terre. The location is truly magnificent, with the train station easily accessible by the hotel’s shuttle, and the hotel facilities are excellent for relaxing. Special mention goes to Frankie at the reception desk—his knowledge of the area, proactive attitude, and natural warmth made a lasting impression.

From the moment we arrived we wanted to extend our stay. We had a lovely time at the property which was perfect for our family. The kids loved playing in the pools. The setting is beautiful surrounded by mountains and landscaped gardens. All the staff were friendly and the accommodation includes everything you could possibly need. There is a free shuttle bus to Lavento so you go out exploring. You should definitely book this place!
