I did not feel that there wasn't enough space, even though the size of the room is probably similar to other hotels in general. View from the room was nice too where I could see the mountains in the distance. There was even a website to check how crowded the public bath was in real-time, so you can avoid crowded timings. There was a huge map in the lobby introducing various restaurants and shops nearby, which was helpful for exploring the neighbourhood. Location was good too, near enough to the centre of action and you can technically walk to the Obiyamachi shopping arcade (about 15 mins), though the area does get a little too quiet after sundown. There was a good spread at breakfast, you can have sea bream rice (a famous food in Ehime) and also yuzu french toast (Kochi is famous for yuzu).

The rooms are spacious and clean. The onsen is just amazing. I chose the plan with both dinner and breakfast and I don’t regret my choice. The food was diverse and delicious with all kinds of different dishes and flavors.
