The house is a traditional Swahili house, with a beautiful terrace and views, a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities and a well stacked kitchen, which is always a plus with kids. Our host Abadalla is quite simply the best host I’ve ever had - and we travel quite a bit. He was kind, thoughtful and basically carefully planned our entire stay, coordinating tours, recommending awesome local spots and day activities along the way. He took take of it all, from airport pick up, to sunset Dhow, to Lamu tour, he negotiated the prices and made the trip ultra smooth. He also served us beautiful breakfast every morning, with a large variety of fruits, Swahili pastries, omelettes, etc. He also stocked the fridge and made sure we always had drinking water for a very reasonable fee. The nicest and warmest guy, who also shared many special moments with us, and shared stories and history of Lamu as well. We would highly recommend Shela Bliss to anyone. An outstanding experience!

LAMU HOUSE se nachází v destinaci Lamu. Gallery Baraka je 600 metrů daleko a Riyadha Mosque 700 metrů. The pools were cooling and very beautiful. I enjoyed the lovely sun beds. The restaurant was great for breakfast, offering great options. The staff was really kind and professional

The Majlis Resort is located in Lamu with views of the Ras Kitau Bay on Manda Island. This resort is beautifully designed and maintained with such ellegant attention to detail in every aspect. Staff were so amazing and the services from the room stewards, waiters, barman, boat captains and dhow waiter was excellent. Truly loved the smiling faces of all the staff and always happy to be of assistance. The beach was tranquil over looking the village of shela in the distance, the sunset views at the infinity pool was amazing. Transfers and our tours were arrange perfectly. If you are a lover of art, interior design and architecture, this place will blow you away. Thank you Majlis for a truly memorable stay.
