One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The whole place is so we'll designed and laid out. Very impressive. Blends nature into the building very well. The staff are fantastic. So friendly. Unfortunately I can't remember the welcoming manager but he was such a nice man. Antony (manager in the restaurant is fantastic and does a great job in looking after you).The lift is a cool little novelty into the hotel. Gave us refreshments on arrival. We stayed here on our last 2 nights of our honeymoon, which the gave us a food platter and 2 free cocktails. Very kind of them. They even gave us a fair well gift. The hotel itself is stunning. Stunning views and facilities. Rooms are very spacious. The monkeys are everywhere so you just need to watch your stuff around the pool but great to watch while floating in the pool. Food is fantastic. I really can't fault this place. We stayed in some great hotels travelling around sri Lanka but coastline Marissa was level above them all. We actually met the hotel co owner who actually took time out to show us a cool boat tour just around the corner and chatted to us about the area and what to do. He is such a nice man and very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here is you had the chance.

Amazing secluded hotel in the rainforest. So well looked after, the food was amazing and the trek they organised in the forest reserve was also brilliant. We were picked up and dropped off at the bus station which made the journey there very easy. Could not recommend highly enough!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Hillcrest. It‘s located in the quiet countryside up the hill of Weligama - just 5mins by TukTuk to the beach. The rooms are really spacious, clean and had everything and more that you could wish for! The main and pool area were also great, clean and overall the place had a nice view over Weligama. Definately recommend!

Lavender mirissa se nachází u moře v destinaci Mirissa (jih). Pláž Thalaramba Beach se nachází 400 metrů daleko a Mezinárodní kriketový stadion Galle 35 km. Highly recommend! Stayed at this family-run guesthouse/hotel for one month. Zero issues. The room (with balcony overlooking a backyard) was spacious, clean and quiet. King size bed was comfortable and protected by a mosquito net. Really neat! Ample sized bathroom with hot/cold water. The fridge is in the common area downstairs. Room cleaning on demand. There's also a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!

Extremely clean and comfortable hotel. Convenient location for sightseeing various places in Mirissa. Welcoming and helpful staff.

What a perfect place for connecting with nature! You can feel like in the jungle when listening to the morning birds! The owners are super nice and helpful. The WiFi was super strong for work. Very close to the beach where you can surf or just relax. And a shower.. you can look up the sky when showering! Highly recommended!

We recently spent two weeks at the Plantation Surf Inn in Midigama East, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The location is absolutely perfect – right across from the beach and within easy reach of incredible surf breaks like Plantation, Lazy Left, Lazy Right, Rams and Coconut. The inn itself is stunning. The rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Their suggestions for places to visit were spot-on, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The Plantation Surf Inn is more than just a place to stay; it's a place that fosters a true sense of community and relaxation. We already miss the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly faces. We were also delighted by the Plantation Surf Inn's restaurant! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all exceptional. They showcased the best of Sri Lankan cuisine – fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We particularly appreciated the range of healthy options alongside the more traditional dishes. We recommend Plantation Surf Inn to anyone looking for a nice surfing getaway in Sri Lanka.
