In the Latgales priekšpilsēta district of Rīga, close to Vermanes Garden, Aparthotel Amella has a shared lounge and a washing machine. The hotel comes with a lot of amenities (some free upon request), perfect for a solo traveler like me. Being a studio apartment, the provision of a fridge did help when it came to keeping leftovers for breakfast or storing items from the store nearby. I also had a room facing the courtyard which was very quiet in the night. The staff were extremely friendly and also pointed me to the directions of some attractions as well as the Christmas festivities happening around town. The receptionist even offered me an umbrella on my way out of the building when he realised that it was snowing heavily outside. 10/10 would recommend this hotel with the value you pay as you receive service and amenities above and beyond what is found in other accomodations.

Set in Riga’s historic centre overlooking Bastion Hill, Grand Poet Hotel by Semarah combines contemporary design with five-star comfort. The staff was BEYOND wonderful. I only stayed there for a night but the next time i come to Riga inshallah I will only stay in the Grand Poet hotel. I loved everything about the room as well, very beautiful decor, clean and attention to details was so great.

Lielupe Hotel SPA & Conferences by Semarah is set in a tranquil pine forest, just 400 metres from Jūrmala’s sandy beach. Great hotel. New renovation. Family room was spacious. Very large swimming pool. Kids loved it! Great quality food at the restaurant. Excellent breakfast.

Set in Gauja, GaujaClub - our BOSE and Bang&Olufsen lofts on a lake is a recently renovated accommodation, 25 km from Riga Motor Museum and 30 km from Arena Riga. We were looking for a place to have a short peaceful holiday and this was exact we wanted. There four houses all in all, no noise, no cars, a lake is near. The room was clean, we had everything we needed. Of course some may not like that everything is in one area, like kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. But it doesn’t disturb our relaxation time. The host was really great, very helpful and responsive. We took jacuzzi and sauna, they organised everything, it was really relaxing and great.

Quiet location, friendly staff, room was as advertised. Noticed a lot of additional facilities, that seemed to be nice, but we didn't get to experience them.

Situated in a historic sanatorium building from 1918, Villa Santa features a garden, a terrace and a bar. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service. We had a wonderful room with windows pointing to the lush forest (I guess most rooms must have that). It was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated - bathroom as well. The restaurant on site can be recommended for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff at counter and restaurant.

Featuring quiet street views and a garden, Park Apartments provides accommodation attractively located in Valmiera, within a short distance of Valmiera Drama Theatre, Valmiera St. The location was perfect and the townhouse was exceptional. It had everything I needed for a short-term stay. The manager and his staff were incredible kind and accomodatin. I would recommend this place to anyone and would be happy to return there myself for future stays in Valmiera.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Treehouse Čiekurs is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Duķuri, 4.1 km from Sculpture Battle with Centaurus. Amazing stay! Superb sauna and beautiful lake. The treehouse is like from fairytale! Friendly hosts. Most recommended stay!

The ideal place for a family getaway. Located in the very heart of Jūrmala, on its famous Jomas Street and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and Dzintari Concert Hall, Aparthotel Lettia invites... Brilliant location - close to beach and on the main city pedestrian street. We got a nice room with all essentials (from washing machine to slippers, fully equipped kitchen area - anything we could need). We have been granted free parking next to hotel. Staff was really nice and addressed requests professionally. Room had a balcony with view to yard (away from main street noise),
