I’m also incredibly grateful for the warm, sincere, and truly high-level welcome given not only to me, but also to my little companion, my small pug. We truly felt well received and very happy spending our time here. It’s a very calm and cozy place, beautifully renovated and full of character- exactly what someone with refined taste would appreciate. It’s perfect for a romantic escape for couples, and equally ideal for solo travelers like me who are looking for peace and comfort. I really wish to return. We are deeply grateful and absolutely delighted with our stay. Also, the nearby parking is a huge bonus- just perfect. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Set in Riga’s historic centre overlooking Bastion Hill, Grand Poet Hotel by Semarah combines contemporary design with five-star comfort. The property is exactly like the pictures. Room is spacious, bathroom has a tub and really well equipped. The staff is friendly and location is incredible. Would definitely visit again.

We were looking for a place to have a short peaceful holiday and this was exact we wanted. There four houses all in all, no noise, no cars, a lake is near. The room was clean, we had everything we needed. Of course some may not like that everything is in one area, like kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. But it doesn’t disturb our relaxation time. The host was really great, very helpful and responsive. We took jacuzzi and sauna, they organised everything, it was really relaxing and great.

Valmiera St. Calm location for listening the welcome rain in the middle of a hot summer. Being in the middle of forest even the forecasted winds mostly skipped the tranquil yard. Good breakfast, although it would be more ecological to ask about dietary restrictions before offering sausages. Well, the owner appeared to have some pets, although didn't spot them outside in the rainy weather, so guess the parts not eaten found some other use. Would also recommend the location for family events (if properly arranged with the owner well in advance). Building itself was actually best example of properly done masonry I have seen in Latvia, thanks for restoring my belief in properly built buildings still existing :-)

Situated in a historic sanatorium building from 1918, Villa Santa features a garden, a terrace and a bar. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service. The location was a bit difficult to find due to Google Maps not showing accurate directions. But once we found it, it was paradise. Absolutely gorgeous location nestled in the woods. All three buildings are charming. The staff were great. Breakfast was amazing, as were the cocktails. Our room and bathroom were very spacious, with plenty of windows and natural lighting. Everything was tastefully arranged and decorated. Since it is in the woods, make sure to take mosquito repellent so you can enjoy the outdoors. I hope to go back some day!

Park Apartments nabízí zahradu, terasu a pokojovou službu. Valmiera Drama Theatre je 500 metrů odtud. The location was perfect and the townhouse was exceptional. It had everything I needed for a short-term stay. The manager and his staff were incredible kind and accomodatin. I would recommend this place to anyone and would be happy to return there myself for future stays in Valmiera.

Superb location on the main street, close to the beach and restaurants/shops. Walking distance to the Adventure park and viewing tower. One hour free rental of bicycles if you want to explore more of the town. Free parking at the hotel. And of course the practicality and functionality of an apartment: kitchenette, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, drying rack in the (covered) balcony...
